What happens when two lifelong animal lovers find a farm that feels like home? Magic.
For both Karen and David, animals have always been more than companions… they’re a way of life. From David’s childhood holidays spent on his cousins’ Leongatha farm to Karen’s early years rescuing injured wildlife, that shared love grew into something extraordinary. Over the years, their home has always been filled with life (dogs, chooks, rabbits, birds) and now, the incredible rare breeds they’ve come to nurture.
In 2017, they moved to Mandurang and began building their dream. A farm built on compassion, care, and purpose. Starting with ducks, goats, and chickens, their passion for ethical breeding and animal welfare led them to the Rare Breeds Trust of Australia. From there, their journey evolved into the rare and beautiful Valais Blacknose sheep. Every step has been driven by curiosity, respect for the animals, and the belief that small farms can still make a big impact.
Every animal is raised by hand, not by habit. We pour our hearts into their care, ensuring they’re healthy, socialised, and ready for a future filled with love. This isn’t just farming, it’s our calling, and we’re proud to share a piece of it with others who value the same integrity.
